What is a free dating website for chunky tattooed pierced girls?

Q. It's hard to meet men in this small town. Especially when you're plus sized and over half the population looks at you like you're some kind of freak. Is there any free dating websites out there that target plus sized alternative women like myself?

A. Try Dating Cafe, it was and will remain free. Has everything and maybe much more to offer then paid sites.
I've never understood why people pay for on-line dating, anyway. Most of the time they never find somebody because the owners of the dating sites (probably ALL PAID DATING SITES) are USING FAKE PROFILES.
That's the only way to make suckers register and pay - they give the impression of really animated community, but they have only 2-3 real users sending emails/messages to the bots like idiots. It's such a shame how this low quality people are trying to take advantage of people's feelings and take their money just for trying to find their soul-mate.
Anyway, check Dating Cafe, if free, multi-language, and they don't use fake profiles; they even have a video chat.
Good luck!

Does anyone know of any websites or links to Lebanese makeup and application tips?
Q. I LOVE the way Lebanese women look with their makeup on. I would like to know how they get their eyebrows to look so perfect (without the tattoo, which I might get later, but can't afford right now) and also which makeup brands they use and some application tips. Also, how do you (they) get the hair so shiny???? I tried YouTube, but only got videos of women already made up...No real tutorials or brands....

A. Use eyebrow stencils to get that tattooed look.
They also use tape to get the dramatic eyeline so sharp.

What part of the body is the most intimate part for a guy to get a tattoo?
Q. I'm looking to get a tattoo that will drive a woman mad and turn her on when I take off my clothes and she sees a tattoo. What part of the body will accomplish that?

Obviously, for women, tattoos on their legs, feet, hip, lower back, stomach, pubic area, or buttocks are all great intimate places. But what about guys?

A. Pubic area, sides,...neck?
Eh. Those are head turners for me, I guess.

How much important is to learn history?

Q. I totally suck at history. And I want some reasons or motivations to learn history. I'm taking this US history college class and I think I'm going to flunk it. I kind of need to pass the class. Is it worth it? I mean history lovers. Write about your passion in history and why?

Everytime I read something about history my head hurts and start to get dizzy (only at history class). Words such as war, governement, politcs, presidents bore the hell out of me.

Motivate me, and motivate others.

A. Yes, it is definitely worth it. I am passionate about history and I do agree that basic US history is pretty boring because you are basically learning the same information you learned in high school. However, I loved alternative history classes like Women in American History, a two part class that focused on women's issues and history, Material Culture, where I learned about history through objects like clothing, silverware and tombstones- what can the objects of the past tell us? I am passionate about the subject because of these, and many other alternative history classes that I took because I learned history from a new perspective and learned about what I was interested in. Also, the research papers I was required to write for the classes allowed me to focus on such neat topics as using objects like tattoo needles and sea chests to explain how the average seaman lived on a whaling vessel between 1820-1840 and how Queen Victoria contributed to Victorian mourning practices.
It is very important to learn about our country's history so that you can know how the past affects the present. I would suggest that you find a history class that interests you. There are so many types of history classes available- ancient, women's, military, gender studies, film (I took a class on Oliver Stone and his version of the Cold War- I got to watch movies in class and learn about the Cold War!), material, ethnic history like African-American, era-specific (Colonial, Revolutionary War, Victorian), geographic (French, Mexican, etc.), social (LGBT, Vietnam War-era counterculture), etc.
Don't let a boring US history class ruin history for you- explore your options (as well as your College's/University's course catalog) before you give up the subject. Read books about the history of unconventional subjects- I just finished a history of the New World told through stories about ten different rum drinks!

Is it a bad sign when I listen to Britney Spears and I feel I can relate to the music?
Q. *sings*

I'm not a girl
Not yet a woman
all I need is time
a moment that is mine....
while I'm in between...

I'm not a girl don't tell what to believe
I'm just trying to find the woman in me yeah!

A. No that's alright. The thought is very authentic and well put.

Now if you start liking Britney's music as a whole, the folks at Tioga might start sizing you up for a trailer, or maybe a double wide. You'll get "complimentary" tickets to the local tractor pull, maybe even a NASCAR race. You'll get mail order catalogs of body jewelry and tattoo designs.

Sophrosune my Greek pet, moderation in all things.

Here's to Tsaziki, and spanocopida, but not to Retsina!

Can a woman who is a extreme flirt at work file sexual harassment charges?

Q. Comes to work dressing provocative, talks openly about her sex life to any group of men-regardless how well she knows them or if they want to hear it or not. Has even went as far as flashing a tattoo on her breast to men at work.
Now turns around and files sexual harassment charges? How can this work?

A. Yes she can. As far as the law is concerned....the guys have the short end of the stick in this case

Can having a tattoo on your breast affect milk production?
Q. I have a tattoo on one breast and its always been slightly smaller than the other one, but now Im 39 weeks and the breast with no tattoo has grown more than the one with the tattoo and seems to leak more often (the tattoo boob leaks sometimes but not very often) my breasts are not totally unporportionate, you can only tell that one is bigger if you stare at them lol but Im just concerned about not producing milk with the tattooed one.

A. I wouldn't worry. The amount that you leak during pregnancy doesn't indicate your future supply. With my 1st child, I leaked constantly from 5 months pregnant on. With my 2nd child, I only leaked on one occassion during the whole pregnancy. Yet with both children, I've had plenty of milk. MORE than enough, actually!

Congrats on the baby on the way! Make sure that you get good support if you have any problems. The first few weeks of breastfeeding might be difficult, but its worth it =) With the proper support, you and your baby can have a comfortable and successful breastfeeding relationship. Not sure if you know this, but I'll share just in case you dont! Make sure the hospital doesnt give your baby any bottles, or it can sabotage your milk supply. It is very important that your body gets the signal to produce milk by having your baby on the breast every time he/she is hungry! Also, bottles too early can cause nipple confusion, so its best to avoid them altogether for at least the first few weeks to get a good latch and supply established. Another thing, if you ever try pumping, remember that it is NOT an accurate indicator of how much milk you actually produce. Many women's bodies do not respond well to pumps, and can only pump a little, or not at all. Your baby is the most effective milk extractor.

If you ever need any help, contact La Leche League. You can visit their website, or get help in person. http://www.llli.org/resources.html?m=0

www.kellymom.com is also an excellent breastfeeding resource.

Email or IM me if you have any questions =)

Good luck and congrats!

Do girls need to shave their eyebrows when they get eyebrow tattoo?

Q. What happens when the hairs start popping through the tattoo? Do they ruin the tattoo? Do they create cracks in it? Do they need to shave their eyebrows off every couple days or what?

A. They would shave the area while doing the tattoo, but after the hair grows back. Most women that get their eyebrows tattooed to add color and darken them. Like to get the same effect they would get if they filled in their eyebrow with a brow pencil.

What do you think makes a girl look more exotic?
Q. I don't know why im just curious !
I think sharp eyebrows & a sharp facial structure are a plus ?
Im really not sure ! , What are your opinions on what makes a girl look more exotic ?
@spaceman spiff I completely disagree .

A. Glowing skin, unique eye colors (icy greens, browns), cat-eye shape or almond, plump lips, dark hair
Those are natural exotic beauty things,
things like piercings and tattoos are unique, but doesn't make an exotic woman any more beautiful. You either have it or you don't.
Some of the most beautiful "exotic" women to me are; Milla Jovovich, Adrianna Lima, and Angelina Jolie and so on. People like Megan Fox, in my opinion, are pretty, but have tried to get an exotic look by through fake methods (too much makeup, plastic surgery).
The most exotic cultures of women i've found to be are; Brazilians, Latinos/Spaniards, Indians, Italians and Russians

What were popular tattoos during the korean war?

Q.

A. Ooooh, I know! Anchors, anchors and nude Spanish women. Anchors, nude Spanish women, and "MOM." You should totally get a classic tattoo, that would be SO "masculine."

How are tattoos viewed in South Korea?
Q. I'm from the states, but am stationed here in Korea on a military base. Yesterday I spent the day out in Seoul. It was hot, so I wore shorts, exposing two large tattoos that I have on my thigh and my calf. I did not notice anyone else with tattoos at all, which made me wonder if Koreans have negative opinions of tattoos. Do they? Is it worse if you're a female with tattoos, or do they think it's ok because I'm a foreigner?

A. Older Koreans see tattoos as a sign of being in the Korean mafia.

Younger Koreans (20s) see tattoos as cool.

If you're foreign you get a pass generally, although it's a bit uncommon to see women with large tattoos here.

This question is for women only. Have any women had reconstruction surgery after a mastectomy?

Q. I am facing the choice of reconstruction surgery and have heard good and bad reports about this surgery. I would like to hear from other women or men that have wives who have had this surgery. Please explain your results and any complications.

A. I had reconstruction after I was done with chemo and radiation.
I chose to have a diep flap done, but since my tummy was so small , and my original breasts were so big, I also had to have a saline implant put in. This surgery consists of the plastic surgeon removing the fat and skin and a large blood vessel from your belly button down to you pubic area. They take this flap and attach the blood vessel and then attach the rest. There is a 4-5 day hospital stay after this surgery. You will feel like a truck hit you but it does get better.
Keep in mind that the reconstructed breasts are not going to look exactly like the original ones. Bras and shirts will fit a little different, and you will not have any feeling in the breast.
You can also get implants put in. You will first have to have stretchers put in and then they will insert the implant. This is a personal decision and it's not an easy one to make. I am glad that I did it, it made me feel more complete. After reconstruction you will have to decide if you want a nipple. I have had this surgery, but in most women as with mine it usually shrinks up to nothing. If you want the color tattooed on they can do that also, but that usually fades to nothing.
I did have to have 8 surgeries to have my reconstruction completed. You will leave the hospital with drains in which you have probably had after your mastectomy. It is about 8-10 weeks recovery.
I am pretty happy with the results.
I hope this helps out and doesn't scare you.

How can a woman dress to turn men off from her or communicate a lack of interest in men?
Q. How can a woman dress to turn men off from her or communicate a lack of interest in men? Or what can they do or how can they behave to communicate this?

A. Do you REALLY want to do this? Because I am going to give you advice and I bet you won't want to take it, because it will detract 99% of the men who would otherwise hit on you, including the ones who you probably DO want to attract.

1. Cut your hair in a mullet. And don't style it all cute, with bangs that fall casually into your face. Have it blend really harsh, and have it be too short on the top for any girlish accessories. That, right there ... sends a clear signal to most men.

--- If the haircut isn't enough ---

2. Wear something like baggy cargo pants with suspenders, or overalls.

3. Get a few piercings, and wear jewelry that looks rough.

4. Try some anti-social or anti-establishment tattoos.

5. Clip your nails very short and don't put any glaze on them, at all.

DON'T

- wear makeup
- wear skirts, dresses, pumps or heels.

and EVEN THEN ... after you have made these modifications in your appearance, there will be men who approach you.

Better advice ...

Just politely tell men that you are not interested. Because unless you are willing to alter your appearance like that (which conveys signals that might draw other types of problems to you) men will still approach you.

Another solution that I used to use, was get a fake wedding set, and wear something like a very visible cross around your neck. That tells them "Christian Married Woman" and generally they will leave you alone. Religious men will leave you alone, and so will non-religious ones who are creeped out by your crucifix.

Need to write an article for college magazine - Any ideas about what should I write on?

Q. Give me some idea to write about. I can write about science (I'm a science student), history, entertainment, human psychology, women issues, etc. etc. Anything!

A. History of tattooing :) (that may interest youth)
How to enhance your speaking skills (You'll have to do research on it though)
LHC - Large Hadron Collider
Spiritualism and Science - What is the link between them?

What style or technique of tattooing will last forever?
Q. i see certain styles of tattoos and i can almost put a date on them as they seemed to have come and gone. what style do you consider the most classic? (i actually asked the opposite to this question, wanting to know what tattoo styles are trendy at the moment, but that upset the teenagers from the trailer park too much so i didn't get my answer and i'm rephrasing it.)

A. The tattoos that are not trendy are the ones that you get for you.
Custom works of art, about things that you love and are interested in.
My husband has a Cave art painting reproduced on his chest.
I have a Celtic Dragon from an ancient piece of jewelry.
I have a wrist bracelet that I designed, filled with stuff that I love, my Dad's favorite flower, something from a dream,... all in my tattoo.
You can get anything, even if it is the trend of the moment, if you love it, and make it yours. You have to remember that body art has been around since the beginning of man/women, look up the Ice Man, and the Payzyrk mummies, etc. And you need to remember that images are art forms.
I think that people under 25 yrs old, forget, or have never thought, that whatever trend that they are seeing, isn't everyone else's life on the planet. That is because marketing has become so pervasive, that people forget that there is anything other than what is marketed,... that is 'seen' on TV, computer, movies, magazines, school, store, newspaper,... Imagine not being connected in these ways at all, would you know if Susie Whatsherface across town or in the next State, got a 'cute little monkey' tattoo? If you got a 'cute little monkey' tattoo, do you think that it would look anything like hers?
No
So, the answer to your question is, that if you get a tattoo for yourself, and not from anyone else's tattoo, or anything that is marketed, or anything that you saw at the current movie or eatery or mall, ... if you got your idea from yourself, and your life, then it will not be trendy.
Even if you get an image from a book or a poem or someone that you admired, it would be yours because it would be about what you care about, and you would not make your choices of design, color, placement etc. because of anyone else.
Look to yourself.

p.s. I don't live in a trailer park and I am not a teenager.

Should I get a tattoo on my head?

Q. I'm a late twenties woman with a bald head since birth. I have no tattoos but have always wanted one and I'm thinking about getting a very small white tattoo behind my ear on my head. I'm not sure I'm brave enough to put something permanent out in the open which is why I'm thinking something small, with little color might be okay for me. I essentially don't want it to be super noticeable unless you know me or know what you're looking for. Thoughts about having a tattoo on your head, subtle as it may be?

A. Love the idea of a white tattoo!

But maybe the back of your neck? Head might be painful...

Will my tattoo disqualify me from Air Force National Guard?
Q. I am planning on joining the Air Force National Guard, however, I'm slightly worried about one of my tattoos getting in the way. I have six tattoos, all are very small, and only one of them is visible. The visible tattoo I have is behind my ear. It is a tiny tattoo of two music notes. I got it a few years ago when I first turned 18 and had no plans of joining the military.

I keep getting mixed answers on whether this tattoo is okay or not. Some people say no and some say yes. Some people say you need a waiver. I've seen on some sites that as long as it's not vulgar or disrespectful it is okay. I also saw a video on youtube, not sure how legit it is, of a woman answering frequently asked questions regarding the Air Force and one was about tattoos. In the video she said that it is okay as long as they are not offensive and don't exceed 25 % of the body part. I will place the link for the video down below and you guys can let me know if that video is legit or not.

Has anyone had any expeirence with this? I really want to join and I'd hate it if some silly tattoo that I got when I was young messed that up.

Thanks!

Here's the video

How do you like my story idea?

Q. Subject #0-DNT-KR-0 is a cold-blooded clone, born in a lab, raised to kill. Since the first day he could hold a gun, he has trained in an arena against the worlds top spetsnas, MI-6, and Shayetet 13 soldiers. Many days, the only thing that keeps him alive is his bio-engineered ability to regenerate from critical wounds in seconds. Soon, #0 is outdated, and marked for 'disposal' for requiring a constant supply of energy. He is shot execution-style, his body left to rot, but he is alive and healing as he crawls through the compound's muddy courtyard, and into the night.
So, I'm gonna be a lot less professional now, just to cut things short, as this is getting extremely long. He breaks into a woman's house, where she shoots him repeatedly, and is amazed when he remains unphased and calm. He disarms her, and is about to kill her, when she pleads for her life. new to this action, he agrees to spare her long enough for her to explain. Soon enough, he drops the gun and runs away. The next night, he comes to her again, eyes filled with child-like curiosity, asking her questions and giving her what few answers he can. A bond forms, she pities him, and agrees to let him live in the basement, provided the door is locked from the outside by six padlocks at night. The woman says her name is Alex Stratus, and they agree on giving him the name Dante Karo, deprived from the number tattooed on his arm; 0-DNT-KR-0.
During the story, many things happen as he learns to be human, but they really don't affect the story line much, since at the climax he still goes to the lab (which he discovers to be a Chinese military facility) for revenge. He finds a revised clone of himself that doesn't require the insulin he did. Like Alex, Dante sees this as a chance to salvage an empty soul. He tries to quickly explain morals to the clone, but his words are without meaning. Dante leaves the compound and alerts the military of its existence. The heads of the pentagon refuse to attack, but Dante tells them everything, then shows them his power. they agree to attack the compound if he lets them experiment on him, and he is sent to the compound once again, in hopes of capturing (or killing) the new clone.
What do you think? I revised this question, and believe I hit the bases running, but a second opinion would be nice.

A. I like that. It's far more original then some of the stuff I read on here.

Make sure you finish it and good luck. :)

M.S.

What's the best way to hide a wrist tattoo?

Q. I have a tattoo on the inner right wrist...job interview's tomorrow and I need to hide it. I do not have any nice long sleeve business shirts for women and it's too hot for a jacket due to the summer heat. Is there another way to hide it than a band aid? Also the tat is 3 birds and are about 1" long each bird

A. your best bet is a concealer that you can buy i guess at a make up store or maybe even a convention store like CVS. If you cant find that i would put on foundation makeup (that you use on your face), and apply that until its covered up. If that doesnt work by a bracelet or watch that has enough width to cover it up but isnt loose enough where you can see your tattoo when you move your hands.

Good Luck!

Are all strippers this unattractive and talentless?
Q. I have never been in a strip club. But last November I went to a hotel suite party at a tattoo convention in Virginia. They hired strippers to preform. They didn't do anything but roll on the carpet and look silly. Some were missing numerous teeth.

My cousin is visiting this weekend and wants us to go to a strip club. Were these strippers just a rare exception, or should I save my money?

Serious responses only.

A. My first opinion would be to not waste your money. Tell your cousin that you could spend the funds getting to know some girls who want to talk to you because they like you, not because they're trying to see how much money they can make. If your cousin wants to go and sit around with the girls while they dance on him all naked like....tell him to stop being a perv.

That said, some people really do go to strip clubs for entertainment. I don't think there's anything wrong with that, as long as they keep it under control.

I suggest you scope out clubs by what kinds of cars are outside. If you don't see a crowd of escalades and acuras outside on a Friday night, don't go in. These kinds of clubs have the prettier women who can demand more money. Usually their stage entertainment is more than some girl rolling around onstage. They have themes, even coordinated routines sometimes. Stay away from the holes in the walls. Ugly absent-toothed women abound! They dance for the guys who don't have enough money for the pretty girls.

In conclusion, I want to revisit a previous statement. Don't waste your money! There are all kinds of schemes in the strip club (ie. private rooms, lap dances, drinks for the girls that are really nothing but water, etc.). Don't fall prey to these things. I know guys who can go to a strip club, have a good time and leave, in good conscious. I've also known those who consistently spent loads of their hard earned money on a piece of tail. It doesn't make sense. If you invest a little time and emotion, you'll get all that and more for free! It'll be exclusive, and from a girl who probably won't give you hepatitis!!! :)

Guys: what would you think of a small rib tattoo on a woman?

Q. I'm 18 and I really want to get a hamsa (hand of god) tattoo design on the side of my ribcage, but I want it to be relatively small (smaller than the majority of the hamsa rib tattoos i've seen). If I really want it in a few months I'm going to get it either way because it's my body, but I was just curious what you guys would think of that on a girl. It would be my only tattoo. Thanks! I'm a runner and stuff btw so it's not like I'm overweight and want to show off an unattractive part of my body.

A. "what eva what eva, its my body i can do what i waaaant" , ...... and to anwser your question I have no idea what a hamsa or hand of god looks like so i cant really answer your question. However geting a rib tattoo for your first one isnt recomended. I have a 6-7 hour rib tattoo on my entire left side of my body. I also had around 15 hours of ink done previous to that including some on my chest. About an hour into my rib tattoo was more painful than all of my other ink put together. Also the rib area is a good place to put a big tattoo. You have plenty of good spots to put small tattoos.

How important is "originality" in a tattoo design?

Q. Check out this quote from an interview with Pat Fish (a woman tattoo artist world famous for her Celtic designs). It came out in 2003:

"College students cast about for something with meaning. The great default is something written in Japanese. It's low commitment, and they can feel wicked and tattooed. Frankly, a tiny kanji looks better than a miniscule rose. We call those 'zits on sticks.' The most common tattoo we do, besides kanji, is suns. Especially on girls' lower backs. For the last four or five years, we've done at least one a day. I hung a sign on the front door of my house that says, 'This is the bungalow that suns on butt cracks bought.'" ......

"We work out of files. I have a file of just suns. That way, I don't have to keep drawing the same thing. After the customer looks at 500 different suns, one-third will pick the same sun. It's the logo for this generation—Leo Zulueta's tribal sun. Then they can make it even more meaningful by putting a kanji in the center! My mantra about that is, 'The baker doesn't complain when the muffins sell well.' So, if we bake another dozen kanji, we're happy to do it!"
(source: http://www.luckyfish.com/controversial.html)

Hmmm...What’s the “logo” for THIS generation?

Here is the artist’s cynical viewpoint. Most are probably sick of doing the same “unoriginal” pieces. (Earlier in this article she says “That’s what employees are for!”)

But there is also a value in the standard design; everyone needs to be familiar with it so its “standard” meaning comes across. If every traffic light used different colors to mean “stop” and “go,” it would be really confusing.

Your thoughts?
I walked by Pat Fish's shop today (it's really close to my house) and peeked in....there is a whole HUGE wall of kanji flash, with the meanings of each character! I can really sympathize with her cynical attitude, but this just made the shop look really bad!

A. I completely feel sorry for tattoo artists who do 3-4 tramp stamps a day. As a piercing apprentice I feel as if I might scream every time some generic girl comes in to get either her tongue, her belly button, or both pierced. You can't blame people though, we're all victims trying to look cool. Some of us might not go out and get tattooed on a whim, but we will express it in other ways.

Do tattoos in girls look trashy or classy?
Q. If it's a meaningful quote on the back of the shoulder? Nothing too scandalous, but, for example, when it comes to wearing a back-baring formal dress, will the tattoo will ruin it's classiness? Is a tattoo quote trashy or classy?

A. Quote tattoos are very personal and inspirational. I personally think that tattoos on girls are attractive (as a girl myself lol). Look at women like Angelina Jolie--she can pull off a 40`s inspired classy dress with a script tattoo on her back., It`s definitely possible, and many men love it!

Can I become a child psychologist even if I have a tattoo on my inner forearm?

Q. I've been thinking about getting a tattoo for a while, and lately it's been becoming more and more appealing to me. What I want is nothing inappropriate; in fact, it's something that my old psychologist told me to tell myself when I got anxious ("whatever happens, I will be okay.") I would not be willing to get it on another part of my body because I need to be able to see it at all times. Do you think this would be okay?

A. If you are running your own clinic and office, then I have no doubt it'll be fine. You set your own rules and as long as you gain a good reputation, you should be fine. However, if your'e going to schools, and don't have your own practice, you'll have to realize that you may need to cover it. If you're a male, then this shouldn't be hard as a long sleeve button down is generally worn in professional environments. If you're a female, then it may be harder because many women wear short sleeve blouses and shirts to work. In the end, it's up to you to weigh the pros and the cons because it's going to be a permanent part of your body. Hope this helps.

What would you call the tattoo (or picture) that has a woman with a pattern around her eyes and a black nose?

Q. It is usually a picture of a woman with a mask like design around her eyes, a black nose and stitches along the outside of the mouth. Are they for the Mexican 'Day of the Dead' or something?

A. Yeah. The 'Dias de las muertas' decoration is a face paint decoration that mimics the sugar skulls and other decorations.

Does it look cute with a girl with a tattoo on her thigh.?
Q. I'm having a hard time trying to find pictures of women with tattoo on their thigh. I would like if you sent me some links to see what it actually looks like.

A. Not women get tattoos there because it looks either stupid or slutty. Plus think in 20 years when you've got cellulite and how pretty the tattoo will look then...

tattoo tipping?

Q. What is the industry standard for tipping a tattoo artist?

A. There isn't one. Tipping everywhere else in the world but America is down to the discretion of the individual to reward poorly paid workers for a service particularly well carried out. In America, however, tipping isn't the choice of the individual as an expression of their gratitude it is expected as a right. I read an article yesterday about a woman in America who had a lip tattoo and wasn't pleased with the results but then went on to say that she paid $80 for it plus the tip! Why would you tip somebody for a job badly done??

A tattooist is not a low-paid person in the service industry. They get paid to do a good job.

In the UK tipping a tattooist isn't common practice and isn't expected. If you're in the States (you don't actually say where you are) pay whatever usual percentage you normally would on anything else.

First tattoo... HELP.?
Q. I have a depression problem. I've had it for the longest time; I cut myself, had failed suicide attempts, family problems. I want to get a big tattoo. One that I won't regret, not like a tiny tacky one. I was thinking maybe one on my rib cage of an ugly butterfly turning into a beautiful colorful butterfly. Since a butterfly is the symbol for the self harm awareness. I really want to stop cutting.
Do you think that's a good idea?
Do I need to sketch a picture of my idea to the tattoo artist? I really can not draw too.
Do they charge by the hour or by what the tattoo is?
Should it be on my rib cage or back? (I don't want it to be on my wrist or arm because of job interviews and whatnot.)

A. Here's the thing - you seem to think that if you get a big tattoo that you will stop cutting yourself. This isn't how it works. You are fooling yourself.
Yes, a tattoo can help you remind yourself of something or someone or a goal etc. But once it is done healing, you have to make the effort to be aware of it, because you don't feel anything from it, it just acts like normal skin.
Your imagery isn't very good either - like said above, an ugly butterfly does not turn into a pretty butterfly, .. a caterpillar changes into a butterfly.
And just because a tattoo is big does not mean that it is good, or that a tiny one is tacky.
What makes a tattoo great is that it is well thought out, personal, and individual, beautiful imagery and artwork, and a skilled and talented tattoo artist, and that it is properly cared for while it heals and for the rest of your life.

I think that you are trying to use another form of cutting = tattooing = thousands of tiny punctures in the skin, as a way to continue doing what you say that you wish to stop. I think that you think that if it is big, that all of those little punctures will take away whatever is causing you to cut yourself.
This is a delusion.

If you truly wish to stop doing this, and if you truly wish to get better, then you need to quit giving it lip service and you need to go to a professional in psychiatry and set up appointments and follow the mental health advise that is given.
After you are free of cutting and other self destructive activities, then reward yourself with a beautiful and meaningful tattoo if you still choose to get one.

My mom is considering letting me get a tattoo for Christmas, but am I going to grow anymore?

Q. I'm 13 years old and my estimated height was 5'8. I am currently 5'7. If I happen to grow another inch will it mess up my tattoo if i get one? and it doesn't really seem like I'm going to grow anymore so what do you guys think?

A. I think you should wait. When I was your age I wanted to get a piercing, but mum thought a tattoo would be better as it's easier to hide than a lip ring. The woman at the studio advised against it though, you can just take a piercing out but tattoos stay forever; and I'm rather glad she did. Today I see kids at school with these horribly tacky tattoos; I'm sure it made sense when they made it, but this one guy has "nothing else matters" in a tacky font diagonally across his biceps, like what? And then there's this fifteen year old guy with tribals. Even the girl that was sooo cool when she got a tattoo in seventh grade; her flowers on her abdomen and side are just ugly.

If you do get a tattoo, make it small and absolutely don't make any quotes. That's what people regret the most because in a couple of years it might just look retarded.

However, to actually answer your question. You will grow, but I don't think it would mess your tattoo up much, unless you go risky and put it around your chest/tummy/hips/thighs. Women tend to never stop developing, but you probably know that best yourself.
Have you grown since last year? If you don't feel like your growth has slowed down, it'll probably continue. To get a good answer, you should visit a doctor or the school nurse; and the tattoo artist you have in mind, I'm sure s/he has an opinion.

Are numbered tattoos on the backs women symbolic for them being sex slaves to organiztions such as illuminati?
Q. I've seen these numbers in a certain font but always the same on many different women, usually located on the back shoulder blades and starting to wonder if these women are simply sex slaves. Also each different women I've seen to my knowledge have had different numbers such as maybe what sex slave they became. Many of these women I've seen are in things such as porn videos or what not. Also heard about sex slaves in the illuminati.

A. I somehow doubt it.

Would a tattoo on the wrist be detrimental to ones career?

Q. I've been wanting a (non-offensive) tattoo on my wrist for the longest time. It would either be totally around the wrist, or on the underside of it.

However, I am curious if others think it will be detrimental to my career. I work with computers currently, but plan on going to school to pursue a career as a veterinarian. My idea is that, when absolutely needed, the wrist tattoo can be covered with a watch, bracelet, or long sleeves.

What do you think?

A. I have done my share of hiring over the years. I won't hire anyone, man or woman, that has a tattoo..unless they show on their resume that they were in the military and the tats in questions shows their affiliation to their military service (ie: anchors and daggers on sailers, or an eagle and globe on a Marine). All others with trendy tats are thanked for their time and are not offered jobs. Period.

Where can I get an amazing wrist tattoo in Southern California?
Q. I want a tattoo on my left wrist. I want it to say "Smile when the world frowns upon you". I'm looking to get it in late December for my 18th birthday. It would be great if the tattoo place was in orange county, but if not it's okay, I'll make the drive for an amazing tattoo!! It would also be great if the place also did piercings too. Just in case I chicken out. Please leave the place's link so I can check out their work :)

What do women think of guys with a tattoo on their pubic area?

Q. I'm thinking of getting one, so I'm interested in hearing what women think about it. Do women find it sexy on guys?

A. Well it really all depends on what the tattoo actually is. If the tattoo wasn't something stupid, then it probably wouldn't bother me too much.

Why do women expect men to shave every ounce of hair off their entire body?
Q. i mean seriously women want us guys to shave our mustache, beard, chest, legs, heck even our pubic area. the only hair women like on guys is the hair on their head. i mean come on ladies don't you think you're taking it to far?

A. there are still plenty of women that like hair on men. At least women over 30 or so.

If I had to shave everything by the time I got finished I'd have to start all over where I began. Got hair everywhere but my forehead, palms, and soles of my feet. Unfortunately, as has been mentioned, being that way is not as popular as it used to be. But Sean Connery still gets away with it. Always did. And I think he's never had much trouble getting laid. Me neither.

In fairness, I don't care if women shave anything either. Actually prefer that they don't.

This new hair is gross crap is rooted in capitalism. No money to be made off of people that are content to be the way they were made. Had to ride the bus home the other day, and jesus, it was an eye-opener. Mexican kids with foot high cockatoo do's, black girls with multicolored, braided, two hundred dollar medusa-like tangles of greasy strings, white suburban punks with those ridiculous three inch long cones sticking through their ears. Bull rings in their snoots. Pierced this, pierced that. Tattoos everwhere that look like they were done with knitting needles and prune juice. Now we're supposed to get rid of all the hair that's not on our heads.

Culturally manipulated twits. The lot. And any woman that expects a guy to shave everything deserves the sort of spineless pushover that would accomodate her.

Im looking for a photographer in las vegas who specializes or prefers photographing plus size women.?

Q. Im wanting to break into the plus size model world. Need to find an agencie, makeup artist and a photographer I live on the north size of vegas.

A. Visit the plus size modeling board at www.curvychick.com - you'll find plenty of legitimate advice specific to plus size models there.

You don't need professional shots if you're walking into an agency for an open call - go with some polaroids and/or candid shots that are well-lit and that show you without tons of makeup. Agents want to see YOU and what your potential might be. IF there is any interest, you'll be directed to shoot with a photog that the agency has worked with before (and you will pay for the shoot, not the agency).

You need to be at least 5'8", be between sizes 8-16 and have great hair, skin, teeth, be photogenic, be well-proportioned and toned and have few or no tattoos or stretchmarks in order to be marketable in this industry.

Good luck!

What does it take to be a plus size model?
Q. How tall do you have to be and what is the average size of a plus size model?

Who do you contact to get started?

A. I'm here to help you a little and get you pointed in the right direction.

There are requirements for plus size models, whether you're a teen or older. They include height and size restrictions. They are as tough for plus size models as they are for straight size ones. You need to be at least 5’8” (5’10” is preferable in the bigger markets like NYC, Miami, L.A., etc.) and fall between sizes 8 and 16/18. Yes, plus sizes start at size 8 as far as agencies are concerned. You need to be well-proportioned, toned and in good shape, have great skin, hair and teeth, and be quite photogenic - let's not forget - we're talking about MODELING. It also helps if you have few, if any, tattoos.

If you have these things going for you, I encourage you to attend an open call at an agency near you that represents plus size models You can find a local one by calling agencies that are listed in your local yellow pages and asking if they rep plus size girls, and then asking when their plus size open calls occur. You will need to get in front of an agent who will determine your marketability in this industry and advise you accordingly. Walk in wearing light makeup, simple but well-fitting clothing, and lose the high heels - they will know how tall you are so don't try to fudge it. Bring some simple shots of yourself that show your face and your full body - they don't need to be professional shots. They will look at your photos and will see your potential without all the makeup. You may be measured on the spot, or asked to be photographed in your underwear, so get rid of your inhibitions NOW.

You need to be in or near a large market – smaller towns don’t normally have modeling agencies, let alone plus size divisions. Your competition knows where to go, and they are going there, believe me. You can be stunningly beautiful, but if you can’t make it to an open call or casting because you live too far away and cannot travel at the drop of a hat, you definitely have a strike against you. Your competition is thrilled to know that you don't have the money for a bus ticket or that your car is in the shop - means more opportunity for them!

If you are marketable, the agent will ask you to do several test shoots that you have to pay for, so please be ready to spend money and time developing your look. Agencies do not typically pick up these fees – the model must do so. (You will need to spend money to get your career off the ground - modeling is not a get-rich-quick career. If you have kids and/or school to finish, you need to plan how you're going to balance it all.)

You may be asked to cut/trim/color your hair, get manicures and pedicures and to hit the gym before the shoot. You will be given a list of photographers that you can call to schedule a shoot, and you will pay them directly. A good agency will never ask for money directly – it’s a transaction between you and the photog. If you want to get the most out of your test shoots, you should hire a makeup artist, hair stylist and fashion stylist to work on the shoot with you.

When your shots come back, your potential agent will see if you have what it takes, and then she/he will submit your photos to clients and see what kind of response you get. They usually submit a comp card, which is a collection of photos that you need to pay for, to the clients to get their feedback. There are no guarantees, and you will only work if clients like/need your look.

You can visit the plus size modeling thread at www.curvychick.com and get advice from working models, photographers, stylists, makeup artists and others within the industry. Take any support you get with a grain of salt - there are plenty of women who will say that you've "got it," but they usually just want to be nice and not have a hand in dashing your dreams. I personally don't want a hand in misleading anyone. AND if someone says you don't really have it, don't take it personally - you're not being judged as a person, not on your looks, but on your marketability - if you can't take the heat you should find another career.

Best of luck!

Here's to Tsaziki, and spanocopida, but not to Retsina!

how can i become a victorias secret angel?
Q. i would beally like to become a victorias secret angel because i love them all. im 14 and i really need help. guys?? any ideas?? what should i do. please dont really write any stupid response cause thats really just a waste of your and my time. i need some real answers and fast.

A. Well first, you'll need to meet the requirements.
Height: At least 5'7 (Same as most, large modeling agencies)
Measurements: 34-24-34 (+/- 1.5, also same as more large modeling agencies)

To become an angel, you're going to need an extremely successful modeling career. So before we even get to such a prestigious job, focus on starting up your modeling career. Contact local, or any national/international modeling agency to obtain more information or even get scouted.

So after you are signed with an agency (VS will only hire you if you are signed with an agency), you're going to need to get your name out there. Participate in as many large fashion events as possible (Such as Milan, Paris, New York Fashion Week and other large fashion capitals) Not only does VS do a lot of scouting at these events, but so do other major companies. It all comes to chance, and the best way to improve this chance is to be a good, dedicated model and to get your name really out there. If VS is interested in hiring you, they'll contact your agency and business will be done between them. You'll start working for them (commercials, catalogue and fashion show) as any other regular model (not an official angel) and if they really like you, the prestigious Angel contract will be offered. Keep in mind that this is one of the most prestigious modeling jobs in the world, there are probably hundreds of thousands of other women who want this job as much as you, so don't be disappointed if you are unable to complete this dream of yours, very few are ever offered this contract.

No, you do not need to be perfect. Do not get any large tattoos, no plastic surgery either.

Are Japanese women okay with tattoos?

Q. I have Chinese art covering my back and arms, and they can easily be mistaken for yakuza tattoos. I've heard that bathhouses normally ban people with tattoos, and that tattoos are frowned upon in Japan. My friend recently introduced me to this half-Japanese girl who grew up in Japan. We've been getting along well, except she doesn't know about my tattoos yet. Do you think it'll throw her off?

A. Call it " iffy "...Tattoos in Japan are seen a being connected with the Yakuza.
I'd say yes, there's a good chance they may throw her off. I'd just take it one day at a time. Don't rush things. Let her know you for the person you are first.
You could be sneaky and somehow get the subject of tattoos into a talk with her. Like if you watch a movie together and some guy has tats in it. Or be bold and expose your arms. You don't want to wait till you fall for her, or she for you, if there's even a chance for that.
Good luck !

Why do yakuza tatoo their back?
Q. Call me a fool ,but I think those tatoos can be troublesome if they are caught. To find who is the boss of the organization the police must only check their back.
Yes I understand that, but doesn't make this easier for cops to catch them ?
I understand, you have best answer my friend. Thanks.

A. While tattooing among the Yakuza was prevalent amongst the men, it is now more common to see the wives, mistresses, and daughters of the affiliated to become tattooed. The women undergo the tattooing procedures to show their loyalty. And whatever stigma may be attached to the Yakuza and their tattoos, one cannot deny the beauty of the art. It's usual within yakuza circuits to tattoo themselves, usually is it their clan's badges that they have all over their body. The origin of the yakuza tattoo comes from the Bakuto. They usually tattooed a black ring around the arm for each crime they committed. Finally it became a symbol of strength. It can take over 100 hours to do an entire back tattoo. The tattoo was to illustrate you were unwilling to accommodate yourself to societies rules and norms. Now is it to illustrate your clan affiliations.

continued:
Good question, heres what I found, The more the police push, the more the yakuza are simply going underground, making their activities harder to follow than they ever were before. Gangs cooperated with police, handing over suspects in return for police turning a blind eye to yakuza misdemeanors, but this broke down after organized crime laws were toughened in 1992. It's a very feared Gang and most of the members wear clothing from head to toe.

How to stop being scared by a scary movie?

Q. Ok I went to see a film with my friends and I pretend I wasn't scare and well. Let's just say it's been five days since I saw it and I still can't sleep. Plz help I'm so tired but I get so creeped out!! Btw the film was women in black

A. pray psalm 26 if u scared.
the real God (Christian God: the Holy Trinity) created a set number of angels on the 2nd day...let's say 30 billion. 1/3 of all angels rebelled against God...10 billion...God turned the rebels into spiritual darkness aka demons. well, technically, God had mercy on them because He didn't kill them or send them straight to hell. God gave them a chance to repent of what they've done. so, demons had about at least 7000 years to ask God to forgive them. they didn't do it. so, now they'll burn in hell with all the people who follow them (aka witches/wizzards, astrologers/tarot card readers, mediums/seers, ghost hunters, etc.). well, of course, if these witches/astrologers/mediums/etc. repent of their sins and ask God to forgive them, God will forgive them. so, what I 'm saying, everybody's got a shot to go to heaven - they just have to ask God to forgive them their sins.
demons disguise themselves as ghosts, greys, aliens, pagan gods, etc. basically just everywhere u go (something paranormal or religious like ouija board, channeling, dead relatives during seances), it's the demons almost all the time. to fight demons, u gotta be a christian. here are some christians' thoughts. spread the warning, please.
jigsaw from 'saw' movie is the antichrist.
devil is black with red eyes.
antichrist is white with red eyes.
jigsaw will rule from jerusalem in a few years.
jerusalem is the whore of babylon.
mark of the beast is similar to the 'in time' movie tattoo; it
will be given with small gray world passport by lasers.
Vyatcheslav Krasheninnikov (1982-1993) said this:
-china will attack russia
-jews will lose war against muslims
-80 foot dinosaurs will come out thru lakes and sinkholes. don't go near lakes and sinkholes.
-statue of liberty will make one step forward and then collapse
-antichrist has white powder on his face. his eyes are red. don't worship him.
-green electronic tattoo will be given by lasers when people stretch their hands to receive small gray world passport. don't take chip. don't take world passport. don't take any tattoos.
-demons dress in fake human skin and fly in ufo ships. don't go into a ufo ship.
people who go into ufo ships to be healed by demons, come out zombies.

Im a devoted Christian and the last time I went to church nor prayed was 2 years ago?
Q. I refuse to go to church amd pray until God make justice.

Im a very ugly looking person and I behaved how God wanted my whole life.

all my friends have girlfriends but I don't.

theres a very good looking atheist guy that do drugs and use the women as sexual objects yet God rewarded him by making him handsome.

that is so unfair. I cry all the time and sometimes think of commiting suicide.

A. suicide leads to hell. aborted kids go to hell for 33 years. bible specifically says to not be gay. sodom and gomarah were punished for being gay. evil antichrist is gay. bible clearly forbids tattoos. read book of revelation. all who receive the final armageddon type tattoo will not be forgiven. don't u get it? tattoos give rights to demons to bother you. remember that aliens and ghosts are demons. most of the time dreams are from the devil. so, don't believe in dreams. antichrist is pale with red eyes and wears gloves just like jigsaw from saw movie. but antichrist makes fire come down from the sky and moves at the speed of light 'cause demons (who appear as angels of light) carry him. mark of the beast is similar to the in time movie tattoo. when people stretch hands to receive small grey world passport, this 666 tattoo is given by lasers. chips and electronic tattoos are ways to track people to laser them. food stores will be set up to laser people. police will laser people on highways. those who go to be healed in ufo ships by demons will become spiritual zombies. dinosaurs will come out thru lakes and sinkholes though.

A. Native Americans in Alaska also tattooed their chins. This mask of the "Blueberry Woman" hanging in the Museum's Native Alaskan gallery is a good example of tattooing on the chin of a woman. Women throughout Africa have also occasionally tattooed their faces.

how can you make a pot leaf tattoo appear feminine on a woman?
Q. maybe adding tribal, keeping it small??
also, where should i put it to not look like i'm a drug addict?

A. if you get a marijuana leaf tattooed on you then its obviously of great importance to you, so people will automatically assume that you are a pothead, or drug addict regardless of its placement. but if you insist, and you want to make it feminine, then id say to make it pink.

Help designing a tattoo AND all the information i should know before I get one?

Q. I need major help on designing a tattoo. I was wondering if there are any great artists out there to help me out? Or just explain to me how I should get one? I'm thinking I want a cross OR my favorite quote 'If you can make it through the night, there is a brighter day'. How should I get these done? All opinons are helpful. First timer in the tattoo category. Help?

A. well as it's your first time here, welcome. first off, let me offer you advice on the tattoo you want to get. you want a cross or a quote? well why not incorporate the quote into the cross if you're having a hard time deciding. you could have a ribbon encircling the cross with the quote on it. once you've decided what you'd like, you can have a tattoo artist draw it for you, or if you like i could draw a sketch. i recently drew one for a woman here and she sent a picture of it when she got it done. if you want me to, just send me a message from my answers profile. good luck!

edit: and yes, i WILL 'waste my time' doing it for free. it's what i'm good at and i love doing it, so why charge people that just need a little help.

What's with all the tattoo haters answering questions about tattoos?
Q. Tattoo are a beautiful way to decorate your house :)
I meant house....................................... as in the skin you live in

A. Keep on decorating. they more the merrier! My house is beautifully decorated with six very expensive pieces of art work. I think that "hating" is ignorance. People hate most that which they do not understand. It's also a way for them to voice their opinion. Who else are you gonna complain and b***h to about tats, except those who have them already. I think it's crazy. Tattoos are not the mark of the devil. They've been around much longer than modern religion. In fact, they were once a mark of status and honor. It's a personal choice to get one. I think my art is beautiful. It's very representative of me as a woman, wife and mother. I have a flaming blue rose (strength & honor and courage), celtic runes for strength and journey, a Brazilian & an Americana butterfly (small things cause bigs changes), a dragonfly (wild and free spirit, the power of light. The dragonfly inhabits two realms: air and water and passes the influence of both these elements to the wearer), a fairy (personification of human wishes and desire in the form of little people with magical powers. As a tattoo design they can be symbols of youthful innocence and a desire to retain a child-like imagination, wonder and awe) and a vampire in the shape of a cross (strength & protection for evil doers, religion personnified). For people who hated it, they just don't understand it.

My boyfriend likes girls with tattoos...help?

Q. Ok so this is a very long story... but i really need some advice as idk what else to do.

My bf and I have been dating for over 4 1/2 years already. We have always been very happy and our relationship has been great. We first started having a some problems when he got a new job and his supervisor was a tattooed girl with piercings and crazy hair. She was not attractive but had that "suicide girl look". He never expressed any feelings for her and thought she was ugly. months went on and slowly i noticed they were becoming work buddys. He started being more secretive about her and she would flirt with him right in front of him. i told him i did not like her and to stop talking to her and keep it professional. He didn't like that idea and claimed she was just his "friend". so this went on for a while and finally one day he told me that he was sort of "attracted to her & liked her style". that really hurt my feelings because i was right all along. anyways, we somehow made it after all that. However, i have never forgotten about it and still resent it.

a couple of days ago, i was on his laptop and while typing a URL, her tumblr popped up. This infuriated me. Why was he looking at her tumblr? it had been over a year! he didn't see when i saw the tumblr so i confronted him saying that i saw a girls blog. he panicked so much and lied for his life. presented me with a suicide girl's tumblr. I was crushed because he had just lied to me about her again. told me he was just "curious". may i add this was all on my birthday?! anyways i forgave him again like i always do.

then we go back to tumblr.... he has a tumblr dedicated to "tattooed girls". i've known about it but never asked to see it and gave him privacy. so after my bday incident when he showed me the suicide girls tumblr, i wanted to see it. i did and he only followed about 9 people, and liked about 40ish photos (all tattood women). then i see the women he had previously showed met that he thought was really hot and guess what? she looks just like her supervisor.... i was very upset at that. I've had just about enough giving him so many chances and trying to "understand"guys needs. so i thought i deserved to express myself, i told him he could keep looking at those girl on tumblr but not the one that looked like his supervisor. he said he never made the connection between the two but idk if that true because he will lie for his life to not make me upset. he promised me he would not look at her because he didn't want to loose me. Wrong, he still looks at her although i said i didn't want him to.

my thing is, i am aware that he watches adult movies online, has a tumblr with naked tattooed women and i have said that is ok as long as its during his private time and doesn't make it personal (he had looked some up on instagram and had several wallpapers on his comp). and yet he cannot understand and leave ONE girl alone although it makes me very upset because it looks like her supervisor?!?!?!

and now he tells me that he now goes on his tumblr more often then ever. that me being "jelous" and telling him not to look at that one suicide girl makes him want to even more. so lately he has been going on his tumblr everyday and liking many photos. i am just so confused and don't know what to do. he says he thinks girls with tattoos look hot but would never ever date one and that he doesn't really care if they are the most attractive girls as long as they have tattoos which is he found his supervisor "attractive". However this worries me because now every time i see a girl with tattoos i feel like his is drooling over her.

he always tells me he loves me and the way i look.

About me: I would consider myself an attractive girl and very sweet. I don't want to sound conceded but many guys express that they think I'm beautiful, hot, cute etc. Ironically I've always liked tattoos and piercing and think some girls do look attractive. I have 3 body piercings, gauges, and several ear piercings. I also have future appointments for tattoos to get done on me.

Please help. Anything. I know its a lot of info but any advice will help.

A. Look, you've told him how you feel about him ogling those pictures and you've asked him countless times to stop. He still does it. What does that tell you?
He doesn't respect you or your feelings.
Having certain preferences is fine, and he may well genuinely love you.
But when your fantasies start spilling over and causing problems in your personal life, that's when it stops being a preference and starts becoming an obssession.
Deep down, are you planning these tattoo appointments because YOU want them? Or are you doing it because you're trying to "keep" him?
If it's for you, then fine. But if even a small part of you thinks that he'll be more "attracted" to you, or will treat you better if you are tattooed as well, then I would urge you not to do it.
It's fair enough liking tattoes, but when you're with someone, you're not with them for their body art. You're with them for the person they are... And you accept them as they are.
If he doesn't respect you, honour you, and treat you right NOW, then he is never going to... Tattoed or not!
I think you need you either accept that this is the way he will always be and stop expecting him to change, or walk away and find someone you trust, who makes you feel secure and loved.

Should I get this tattoo? (Picture)?
Q. I want to get this tattoo on my lower back, in black. Not to big, just like a medium size. And please don't say "If you want to look like a slut" or "TRAMP STAMP!" or anything like that. I want some real opinions please. Or if you have any pictures of tattoos that you think are cooler, or any other ideas, please let me know. Thanks..
here's the picture...

Why do some people dislike tattoos so much?

Q. It's an art form that has been around for thousands of years. I think it's amazing to be able to carry round a piece of artwork on your body and that being asked to put an image on their body that will be with them for the rest of their lifes is so amazing. The fact that the lines are so perfect and there is no room for mistakes. I think you really need to take time out before you dismiss this artform as disgusting.

I'd just like to add this aswell.

It's a great video showing tattoo artists callaborating to create some great paintings.

xo.

A. A lot of people in this world are very narrow minded my dear, and as you will see, it is the people who have the smallest minds who have the biggest mouths to go with it! Not a pretty pairing, but unfortunately that is the world we live in.

Some people like to get high and mighty and quote the bible, but the funny thing is, I have tattooed preachers! If they want to go quoting the bible than they should also recall that it is NOT their place to judge!

Some people are just so stuck in the stone ages that they can not see that the world around them has changed a great deal since side shows included "painted ladies."

I happen to be a woman with a LOT of tattoos. I am a professional tattoo artist and body piercer and I am also a professional graphic artist (and yes, I do go to galleries with a lot of snoody people to do my openings, and guess what... they still buy my art!). I am also, I am sure quite unexpectedly, a children's author and illustrator. I do all of these things, and my tattoos do not inhibit me at all. I was married to a fellow tattoo artist, and I am sure that a lot of people would have assumed that when I left him I would never have found anyone else to accept me as I am. I did very quickly, and guess what... another one is joining those of us who are "painted."

Long story short, the world is full of close minded fools who have nothing better to do than to judge others for what their idea of beauty is. My thoughts... if you don't like my tattoos, DON'T LOOK AT THEM! I am not forcing anyone to look, and I love the colorful me that was hiding under all that boring white skin. LOL!

HELP! plz does anyone knows if native american women used to wear facial tattoos and what did they look like ?
Q. Please
i need answers.
And please give me the web sites with pictures
what facial tattoos did native americans wear ?
what did they look like ?
and what did they mean ?
please help me !

A. Native Americans in Alaska also tattooed their chins. This mask of the "Blueberry Woman" hanging in the Museum's Native Alaskan gallery is a good example of tattooing on the chin of a woman. Women throughout Africa have also occasionally tattooed their faces.
