I am taking my Bible study group to one of those restaurants listed next Wednesday, and I want to minimize the chance that anything satanic or atheistic happens when we are enjoying our fellowship. Please tell me which establishment is the most appropriate for good Christian folks.

A. Well from the looks of it you seem to be a pretty conservative Christian. And I am going to be very respectful and try to help you out because you have the right to believe what you want.
Are you going out for just a regular get together or because you are looking to meet and talk about somethings?
I would stay away from Apple Bee's and T.G.I.F's, they tend to be quite noisy and you might see or hear things that you consider inappropriate.
I have never been to Olive Garden so I can't help you there.
I would try Red Lobster, their uniforms are appropriate, and the atmosphere is a little more quiet and you wont have an issue with a younger crowd since they are a little bit pricier and I have never had an issue with inappropriate behavior. As far as tattoos showing or a young man with an earring, I have never seen anyone there with a tattoo showing or young men with earrings, I believe that the restaurant is probably strict on the uniform and everyone looking similar. But I do believe it depends on which Red Lobster because I have seen different uniforms at different ones. But I would definitely go with them. And you could call ahead and explain to the manager the situation, tell him its a religious preference and you would prefer someone dressed modest, and with no visible tattoos, since its for religion I'm sure it wouldn't be a huge issue.

Why do many female tattoo artists have a similar appearence?

Q. I've noticed that every female tattoo artist I have seen thus far looks very similar. They all have a dark/alternative look. I have yet to see one sporting any other look.

How to plan out a tattoo sleeve?

Q. So I'm seriously thinking about starting a sleeve. I have some tattoos that I really want to get done, but they are not all in the same theme... would it look weird?

What are some ways to plan out a sleeve? I'm just scared that the tattoos won't tie together and that it will look like a bunch of individual tattoos instead of a flowing series.

A. Sleeve tattoo

You choose the following:
1. The concept or theme. For example is it going to be about music, love, romance, Alice in Wonderland, or nature. This is all up to you. It should always reflect who you are in your heart and soul.

2. You choose the style. Here are the main ones: Tribal, Fineline Color, Fineline Black and grey, Japanese, Traditional America or New School. If you need examples feel free to email me and I will send some.

3. Pick the images you want in the sleeves. For example a music sleeve would have your favorite musicians, instruments, music staff and notes, etc. They should be in the same theme or they look weird.

4. Next you choose open or closed sleeves. Open sleeves leaves lots of space between the images to give it an airy feel. Closed sleeves means all skin is tattooed even between images, this give the sleeve a more powerful look and feel. The choice is up to you.

5. Next choose an artist. This is not for the average tattoo artist. It has to be a master artist, someone who has done a lot of sleeves. Many times there are none in your area so you will have to travel. If you need recommendations email me at the email address below and I will give you some.

The rest is up to the custom artist. They will draw up the sleeve first and show you what they have, except tribal is best drawn right on the arm. Make sure you tell them you want a proper sleeve, which means it should start on the top of the shoulder, include the armpit (Yeah it hurts) and finish on the top of the hand like an opera glove. If you want it perfect you can include knuckle and finger tattoos. Don’t worry about the hand, because with a full sleeve it cannot be hid anyway, so everyone will know so why not do it right.

Q. I've heard from a friend that if you get a tattoo on/near your hip that they will get stretched out if you get pregnant? Is this true?

Some pregnant women have had tattoos on their stomach or hip that didn't stretch other people can gain a few pounds and the tattoo gets all out stretched. A. I have a small tattoo in a similar location to where you want yours and I am 35-almost 36 weeks pregnant. I have had no stretch marks in that area at all, just a few little ones around my belly button.

How will it affect the tattoo?

A. The only way it will shrink is if you shrink. You're a 16, not a big girl hun. When I think of tattoos becoming distorted by losing weight or gaining weight, I think of losing or gaining hundreds of pounds. Tattoos won't shrink, but, they can look funny in skin folds of large people who lose large amounts of weight. Don't worry about it, a size 16 isn't large. Having a child, that may affect your tattoo more than losing weight. When you have a baby you develop stretch marks, which can appear in the design of the tattoo, and cause the skin to look thinner, which makes the tattoo look like it has faded or lost color. Your back though, I wouldn't worry so much about the weight gain in the back as I would about the belly area. You'll be fine, go ahead and get the tattoo, and enjoy every second of it!!! That's a large commitment, and it will change your life! I say for the better, so for for it!!!

A. Since they are asymmetrical, their is no one design to cover it, that is why you will need a whole back tattoo to cover them. Sorry, it's the only way. On the plus side, I have never since a women with a whole back tattoo that didn't look awesome.

Guys: what would you think of a small rib tattoo on a woman?

However geting a rib tattoo for your first one isnt recomended. I have a 6-7 hour rib tattoo on my entire left side of my body. I also had around 15 hours of ink done previous to that including some on my chest. About an hour into my rib tattoo was more painful than all of my other ink put together. Also the rib area is a good place to put a big tattoo. You have plenty of good spots to put small tattoos.

The people who say that if you have a dragon tattoo you are into women is idiotic and stupid...that's not what they mean at all. Apparently, they have no idea what they are talking about.

A. I happen to have a forearm tattoo.
It is not words, but is a custom designed and high quality work of art that wraps 3/4th of the way around my forearm with the image on the top, a couple of inches from where my arm bends.
It is very unique and does not look ugly or trashy.
I don't think that you can make blanket statements, like 'all forearm tattoos on women are ugly' with any kind of accuracy.

All tattoos are not the same. All women are not the same. How my tattoo looks on me, has nothing to do with how Cher Lloyd's tattoo looks on her.

Basically, you are going to get 2 kinds of answers - negative from people who do not like tattoos or are judgmental based on stereotypes. Or people who are fine with tattoos, who don't judge by whether you are male or female, or have a tattoo or not, or if you have one where it is located.

Do you think woman look hot with tattoos and body piercings ?

Q. Or do you think it's cheap and makes the woman look hard and sleazy ?They don't call them tramp stamps for nothing.

A. I had my tongue pierced when I was 16 but I went out and got wrecked and bit my tongue and cracked part of my tooth off! Bad move looking back. One of my mates used to have her clit pierced. I would never get that i would be too scared!

Tattoos I have two little ones close together at the bottom of my back. I have a butterfly that me and my mate both have and we got when we were 18. I also have my husbands name I got at 19.

My husband has a couple of tribal (one he designed himself), my name and Sunderland Football Club. They are all in black and I like that on a man like David Beckham yummy. He is getting our daughters name soon when we get more money.

We like watching Miami Ink thats a great programme and the people on it are brilliant tattooists.

Q. I work for Raven Tattoo Care, a tattoo aftercare product, and only hear one side of the story, people who have made tattooing their life! Big tattoos on the calves, on the shoulder, the low back - do you think they are pretty and make a girl/woman look more attractive or not? You can guess where I stand on the issue, but I am curious what the general population thinks - does this make you look differently at the person, as if they are lower class/trashy - or do you see it as something beautiful, a work of art, an expression of who the person is? Just interested in opinions.

A. as someone who also works in the business i get to see both opinions, and agree that both are right. There are women out there who are simply trailer trash and have a tramp stamp on their lower back simply to make people look at their ass (in my opinion most v shaped flash tribal down there is simply an arrow). I do see that as an expression of who they are, trashy.

However there are others, myself included, who have a true piece of artwork on their back. The style i have looks like the flowers are airbrushed on and people always want to touch it to see if its actually real or not. Never has anyone called it trashy. i dont see it as a personal expression of anything because i didnt get it to say ive got a tattoo there or even because i like that design more than anything in the world. It was a gift from my mentor and it was more a bonding experience than anything else. i dont think it makes me any different a person than i was before.

What is the significance of having a small tattoo on the hand in the area between the thumb and index finger?

Q. I work with an older woman who has a very small roundish tattoo on the side of her hand. I've never gotten a close up look but I could swear I'd seen that before somewhere else. I want to say it signifies something but I can't for the life of me remember. Anyone know what it means? I would ask the woman but from what I can tell she's a fairly private woman and I wouldn't want to offend anyone.

A. Wherever u pick a place for a tattoo will hurt, but from my experience and other stuff i know about women, they have a lower tendency to pain than men, and these days they use sometimes a pain killer lotion on some areas, ask for it if u really feel it might hurt u there.

What can you tell about a woman who wears a flower tattoo on her upper right shoulder blade ?

Q. O.K. I recently had a falling out with a woman who always refered to me as her best friend. I caught her in tons of lies during our ,so-called, friendship and the rest of the time she just baffled me with her evasive personality and quirks. She had the most amazing flower tattoo (I think it was supposed to be an Iris or Orchid ) on her upper right shoulder blade.

Cabbagetown location- Sam Parker is a doll. He has actually done most of my tattoos. He has an art degree also.Wonderfully talented.

#3. Olde School Tattoo in Marietta (i know no one has heard of this one), Brett there is a fabulous young tattooer putting out some of the cleanest work I have ever seen. He obviously needs to update his online portfolio, but I can not recommend him enough. He did a clipper ship on my husbands chest for half of the price my guys would have, and it is FLAWLESS. Shop is nice.I wouldn't get tattooed by the owner though.
