What should I add to my first tattoo?

Q. Hey! Im getting a tattoo soon and I think i know what I want to get. I think I might be getting a feather with birds coming from the tip. But I want to add a quote to it I think. I want it to sort of represent me escaping from the abuse of my father and being free. I might want to do one of the following quotes.

"Know your worth"
or "We accept the love we think we deserve"
Or
"without struggle there is no progress"

Or maybe I shouldn't add a quote?

I want opinions. I would like the tattoo in the same spot as the first picture, so on my shoulder blade area. So I'm not sure where the quote would go or what not. Help please!

A. I like the design. personally, I wouldn't add a quote. the symbolism in the feather/birds is enough, to me.
