Additionally, while pregnant many women put on extra weight that will come off after the pregnancy. The extra weight will cause the tattoo to be distorted once the weight is lost. While nursing a woman's body produces antibodies that are to be passed to the infant. If tattooed while these extra antibodies are in the system the tattoo may heal harder and possibly result in a light tattoo. If your desire is to get the best quality tattoo I suggest that you wait until the pregnancy and nursing are completed and then get the tattoo. If you decide to go ahead and get the tattoo while pregnant or nursing please consult your tattoo friendly physician first.

Q. I'm considering getting a small tattoo, but I'm not sure where, which will also determine what I get. Obviously not a tramp stamp.
But like, what spots are pretty sexy for tattoos on women, and what is just a good spot to avoid?
I'm considering a single word, too, but I'm not sure.

Q. I'm getting a tattoo in July, and I've been reading about tattoos to make sure it is safe. And I keep seeing these articles about how women with tattoos are "disgusting". How can a beautiful women with a nice feminine tattoo be disgusting? Why can men get sleeves, but if a woman gets a some-what large tattoo its considered terrible?

A. I`m old fashioned and prefer women with no tattoos. To me it`s advertising to be in a lower class, especially the body tattoos that are very visible no matter how they dress. I don`t look down on people with tattoos, I just prefer their natural self. To each their own and freedom to all.

This is our first and probably only trip out of the country, and we�d like to get matching tattoo�s of our future little boy�s name. Are there any regions of the body that we should stay clear of when she gets her tattoo?

A. It is definitely NOT safe for a pregnant woman to get a tattoo or piercing at any time or any place while pregnant! It is not even safe to get a tattoo while breastfeeding.

Q. My boyfriends away from the weekend, and recently his grandmother has died, her favroit flower was a lotas blossem, but I don't know if a women getting a tattoo unatractive to boys, what do you think?

A. I personally think that it would look pretty. But in my opinion I wouldn't get a tattoo that would have to do with my boyfriend. Just in case you break up, you would be stuck with it! I understand why you would want to. I would get a tattoo that would mean A LOT to you. :) For example: My brother LOVES Star Wars, He got a Yoda tattoo. Haha. Get what makes you happy!
