Q. My Dad passed away towards the end of last year and I was looking to get a tattoo in memory of him. I have never had a tattoo before and know nothing about them so i'm looking for a little help. Firstly i'm a male, are "RIP" or "In memory of" tattoos popular with men and women equally? (Are they deemed feminine?) Also, where should I have the tattoo drawn on my body? Any links to designs for inspiration would be helpful as well as alternative messages i can have written on the tattoo other than simply RIP etc.
A. I recommend you to try http://www.createmytattoo.com for your tattoo. This is a cool place. I personally tried CreateMyTattoo for my tattoo design and I am completely blown away by the design that I got from CreateMyTattoo.com The artist captured exactly what I wanted.
Can pregnant women get tattoos?
Q. What, if any, are the risks?
Please, if you can, leave a website or something that you got it from, but if you can't that's cool.
Thank you in advance!

A. I don't have a website link, but I asked my doctor about this about a month ago (I was 29 weeks pregnant at the time) and she recommended that I hold out until after the baby is born, your blood is thinner when you are pregnant, which can lead to more bleeding during the actual tattoo process, not to mention that your body is completely whacked due to hormones and it could heighten the risk of infection. Also, the hormones can cause color variations in the dye used to tattoo because of these hormones, ex: pink turning bright orange.. etc..
Its only 9 months.. I think ill hold out. Just think, maybe your new baby will be an inspiration for a special tattoo
