Q. I plan on getting 2 tattoos before I go back to college, I want the Libra sign in black on the underside of my right wrist and the characters for rabbit on the other wrist in red.
Being a guy is it gay, getting wrist tattoos?

A. GAY?
Are you kidding me? I know I'm a woman but I have both my inner wrists tattooed and know of LOTS of men with them, including guys with sleeves down to their wrists. I know one guy who just did flames on his wrists, all the way around. They looked like they were flaming up his arm, looked very awesome.
So no, not gay. Your choice of tattoo design might not be appropriate for the wrists but who am I to judge, lol.

Should I get a tattoo?
Q. My dad seems to think that girls look trashy with tattoos...but i really want to get one! Do girls look trashy with tattoos? i don't think so. Also, i was thinking of getting it on the inside of my wrist...I've heard people say that it hurts a lot there...and seeing how i'm new to all this...how bad does a getting a tattoo really hurt?
A. Well, as a heavily tattooed woman, I obviously don't think they are trashy. If you are serious about getting a tattoo, you need to remember several things. Firstly, are you still going to like the design ten years down the road? If not, don't get it. Second, are you going to go into a career field that is professional and would frown on visible tattoos? If so, don't get one. Third, tattoos feel different to everyone. No two people are going to say the same exact thing. For me, I don't really think it hurts that bad. There are places where they hurt worse though. A lot of it is just where your pain threshold is. I have a full sleeve, and my inner wrist on the other arm done. The spot there is a little more intense, because there are all those little nerves right there. I did just fine, and I still love every tattoo I have.
