Need some help finding tattoos?

Q. Asking again, my last post only got spammed.

I really like the design of the tattoos of woman with sewn lips and tattooed faces but I don't know what to search to find any pictures. Does any one know what they're called?

A. Well you could google tattooed woman and circus side show. You might also look at the tattoo flash sites.

Where would you get this tattoo?
Q. http://www.decalsandstickers.co.uk/catalog/images/Harmony_Chinese.jpg

It's the chinese symbol for harmony, it has multiple meanings to me, and I'm not going to get it any time soon but I'm planning on it for the future (pretty small, probably only about a square inch). Where do you think it would look best? Preferably a place that won't hurt a ton. :]

A. best place is no place.

Tattoos = REGRET

Research shows that women face more social stigma than men regarding tattoos. Women with tattoos are more likely to have them removed because of embarrassment, body image, or career concerns. Researchers from Texas Tech University found that women with tattoos are more than twice as likely to have them removed (as compared to men with tattoos). Most women are happy with tattoos when they get them, but their feelings changed within the next one to five years. In this study, women found that tattoos began to cause embarrassment, and stopped being a source of uniqueness. Women with tattoos often have to hide them, which limits clothing options and increases feelings of self-consciousness.

What do you think about tattoos on women's breasts?

Q. My partner can't stand it.
I don't think it looks too attractive either.
What does everyone else think?

BQ: Where do you think a tattoo would look BEST on a guy or girl?
For those of you who misunderstood my question (Kali Butler, lol)
I'm NOT saying I want a tattoo on my breast, I think that's a horrible position for any tattoo!
My partner & I were watching tv and we saw a woman with a large tattoo on her breast.
We don't like it.
We were just wondering what other people thought about it.
btw, I already have tattoos (my children's names on my ankles)
;D

A. I think tattoos on a woman's breasts are like scribbling on a masterpiece... should not be done!

Generally I'm not a fan of ink on women but if it's meaningful and not on the arms or face then it's not so bad... on men I guess the back or arms is the best place. This is just my opinion though...

what is a good tattoo quote for a female?
Q. i want a tatoo for my 18th bday..i am a lady who is going to join the marines once i turn 18, so i dont want any love quotes or chessy quotes . i want a strong quote , i really ont like any b s please so no weak quotes.. its gonna go on my left side of my back or left side of hip so a good quotee plz (:! thanks

A. Best quote for a female is no quote. Don't get a tattoo, Marine!

Muslims >>> Is it a sin to get a permanent tattoo?

Q. I am a Muslim from Turkey, and I was raised religiously. I was always thought that permanent tattoos are a sin. But last week, I went to Jordan, Petra. Its an amazing place, but I noticed something. There are a lot of bedouins there, and they have facial tattoos, especially women. They had tattoos on their faces like dots, and Islamic arts. Is this allowed?

A. well the only way i think i can really think this through is to make a pro and cons list.

but unfortunately i had way more hardcore cons than pros. Only Allah knows. but its better to stay on the safe side. plus it probably is haram because there is a hadith that says that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said that if anyone does anything to show off has committed the sin of shirk.

this is because you are trying to please someone else other than Allah. And if you dont know for sure that tattoos are halal and you still get one, it's like not really caring if its halal or not you just want to show off with your tattoo, which is MAJOR shirk.

btw, i dont mean you personally, im just talking in general. :)

i really hope i helped!
and hope your question is answered with a real legit answer, insha'Allah!

oh p.s. those dots you say on womens face, if your talking about the line on their chin and the two dots on each side, thats a tattoo the country people do. they are committing shirk as well, because they do it because they think it makes them look beautiful. but thats only if thats the tattoo your talking about.

How much does it cost to get a tattoo removed from buttox?
Q. I got a tattoo of my old womans face and her initials on my buttox. How much would it cost to remove it? It takes up a few inches of my cheek. She left me for my boy cheese whiz up in prison.

A. Oh between 1000-5000 bucks. Tell Cheese whiz to help you pay for it, when he gets out.

What do you think of tattoos on one's neck and face?

Q. I am starting to see more and more young men and women who have tattoos on their neck and face. I also see many with tattoos on their hands. I asked one guy who had many visible tattoos and he told me if you liked tattoos why hide them. So many people seem to be high on tattoos but feel a need to hide them. If they are beautiful why not put them on their face, neck and hands for everyone to see. What do you think?

A. i don't think they should be hidden. on the face and neck it depends. I've seen a lot of people, mainly Latino men with tattoos on their neck. i think its fine, it its something meaningful. like their mother's or child's name. I'm not a big fan of face tattoos but on some people they just work, like Kat Von D's stars...they look incredible and I think Mike Tyson just looks stupid. When I get more I'm going to be showing them off all the time. Right now, I have 3 little stars behind my right ear. I would be showing them off a lot more if they still looked like stars, I'm going to be getting them fixed soon and have three more behind my other ear. I'm also going to be getting a trinity knot on my back so when I wear dresses it will show and look really good. I also plan to have a L on one wrist and an M on the other for my grandparents. As well as a few others, one somewhere on my back for my cats.

I am looking for a Arabic Tattoo to honor my mother and father?

Q. I am of Moroccan decent, so i would like to get a tattoo that is in arabic. I was first thinking of getting mother and father in arabic, plain and simple. However, i want it to have more meaning, maybe a phrase or quotation from the Quran . Or a symbol, i have checked online, but i always get different regions than my own. Can anyone help me please?

A. In Modern Moroccan culture, tattoos have a really bad connotation. It wasn't always like this, a lot of elderly women still have tattoos on their faces, hands and feet. I can't explain why this change occurred, but if i know my parents wouldn't even hear of it for example :)

Now, stay away from Quran verses, god's names, the prophet's sayings and the like. It's considered a blaspheme. You'll have Muslims of all nationalities coming to you asking why you did it, saying it's haram and feeling offended... i think it's not a desirable reaction to a tattoo, so please be careful, and avoid anything religious unless you want it to have this kind of reactions :)

I would advice you to pick a verse of classical Arabic poetry. It's not specific to Morocco but it's chic. If you want something really Moroccan, look for a song lyrics, and if your parents are Amazighs, maybe a berber poetry in Tifinagh script. I don't want to suggest something, because to honor your parents, this is something you most do by yourself. This alone will give it a deep meaning, along with you love and respect for them :)

I am writing a paper about tattoos and piercings and I need help finding material?
Q. I need research regarding cultures that either embrace or frown upon tattoos and piercings around the world. They have to have credible sources. Can anyone help me?

A. The oldest known tattoo was made by running a string under the skin. I assume coated in charcoal.

There is a tribe, that still exists, where all the women have face tattoos. They are intracate and normally done by the Grandmother. This right of passage started to prevent their women from being stolen. They figured other tribes/invaders would not want disfigured women. Now it's something girls look foreward to.

I've read these facts in magazines, but I don't remember where.

National Geographic might have good info.

How bad does a tattoo hurt if i have a low pain tolerance?

Q. I know a tattoo will hurt regardless, but I want a simple blue dolphin on my wrist and was wondering how bad it would hurt. Also do ankle tattoos hurt a lot?

A. Hi Jessi
Maybe you have been told some problem reports concerning men and women fainting or perhaps moping and crying from an extreme discomfort. To begin with, folks faint as their blood sugar levels fall as a result of avoiding eating or perhaps they simply enable to succeed to work on their own anxiety that ultimately knocks them out.

Pain is for sure generally not the reason whenever people pass out throughout a tattoo design.

When it comes to crying goes, there are a very few that consider the pain excessive to deal with. I drop a few tears personally once - following a sixth hour tattooing session that has been 100 % pure torture over the last hour coming from the tension on my system.

Likely, you will not be seated for a six hours needling session!

So please tend not to give in to these particular horror stories. Moms adore discussing labor along with birth horror stories about giving birth, but that does not stop ladies from getting pregnant!

First advise I have for you, if it's your first tattoo pick a small design and avoid top of the hand, wrist or ankle.

For those who have the anxiety with needles or blood, having a tattoo design won't be simple.

One more thing to think about would be the fact most people are stressed every time they head to have a tattoo design. I would not worry about the level of your stress you may have, often there is a feeling of stress whenever you take a seat.

Here is your system's your system's entire natural shield - endorphins. Your individual endorphins definitely will trigger and be an aid to reduce any kind of pain or soreness you're going to handle.

The very first one minute is truly the worst, and after that once you know it is simply not that terrible, you will relax and it will be easy going.

For those who truly want a tattoo design, and you simply invest time to be informed concerning the full process and the way to pick the right tattoo artist that you are able to have total trust in.

I guarantee you won't ever run out the door crying because of the pain. You are going to go out of that tattoo parlor having a big smile on your face.
