Is it bad form to ask a tattoo artist to modify their flash?

Q. Hey y'all I accompanied my friend to the tattoo shop earlier today and fell in love with a drawing on the artists flash sheet. I'm seriously considering it as a tattoo and I love it as is but would love it even more if I could add a flower to the hair of the woman in the image. Would an artist be offended if I asked to do this? I want it for a number of reasons--mainly the added symbolism and the fact that it would slightly distinguish my tattoo from anyone else who also decides to get it.

A. no its not bad form
but while asking keep complementing it, and say how interested you are in getting if only you could add something to it, and add that you what that added in, means more money for them anyway
just be polite and make jokes tattoo artists are pretty friendly if you get on their good side

How do I pick a position for the tattoo of a woman Im getting?
Q. I want to get Demona from Gargoyles tattooed on my back. I need to figure out a position she will be in. I have a tattoo of a moon on the center of my upper back and I wanted to have Demona some how go with it IF POSSIBLE. (Which it probably isn't.) I was wondering if there is any application or flash animation program where I can mold a female figure until i come up with the right position.

A. Good luck with your tat! There are many animation programs that can help you. You could take a picture of your back and use Adobe Photoshop (or any Adobe programs) to impose a picture of the character in different positions to see where you like it best.
