Q. I live with my Nana, (grandma) taking care of her. She has a lung disease, and many other medical problems. Seeing her go through all of that, I want to get a tattoo honoring her. Q. I'm getting this tattoo for my mom because she's been through so much and she's the strongest woman I know. So far, on my shoulder, I'm thinking of using the quote "let your joy scream across the pain" and some birds flying across my shoulder. But I want more detail. Help?

A. I haven't read the poem, but you know that whole damsel-in-distress thing that men are supposed to find irresistible? That's how I would interpret it. Femininity is often perceived as more delicate and weak and there is a mindset out there among some women (not a great mindset, but it exists) that you can exploit this perception to get men to do what they want them to do.
